Drama Classes Go Around the World in Eight Plays

International folktales came to life in the Gladys Hague Runnels Theatre Nov. 28 as junior high drama students presented their end-of-the-semester production, Around the World in Eight Plays.
In a series of scenes featuring dragon kings, a witch with iron teeth, a demon snake, and the requisite number of evil sisters and changelings, we were transported -- via the superb skills of the actors -- to enchanted landscapes in far flung corners of the world.
Congratulations to the players, the director, senior Landon Simpson, the assistant director, senior Kayla Evans, and drama teacher Neena McLain.
