Both campuses of Runnels School will be CLOSED tomorrow, April 18 due to forecasts of enhanced risks of severe weather in the Baton Rouge area. All activities and field trips scheduled for tomorrow have been postponed. With safety as our primary concern, we are closing out of an abundance of caution. Marcella Babcock, a native of Baton Rouge, is a nationally certified athletic trainer with 27 years’ experience working with athletes of all levels and ages in a variety of clinical settings.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from LSU and a master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mrs. Babcock is entering her 10th year as a faculty member at Runnels. She is currently the Assistant High School Athletic Director and the Athletic Trainer. She teaches health/sports medicine and psychology at Runnels Junior and Senior High School.
