Grad Stats

Of 62 seniors in the Runnels Class of 2016:

  • Our average ACT score of the senior class was a 25.2
  • 53% of our senior class received institutional or independent scholarships (NOT including TOPS)
  • Our seniors were accepted to 47 colleges
  • 13% will head out of state next year
  • The amount awarded in scholarships over the next four years of college was 3.4 million dollars!  That is an average of $55K per Runnels senior! Among the 33 students who received these institutional scholarships, the average was just over $103K each.
  • 11 of our students received 6 figure scholarship offers
  • Of our 62 students, 48 are projected to meet the TOPS requirements which is 77% of our senior class... 20 of those (32%) are projected to be eligible for the TOPS Honors award (3.0 core GPA and 27 or higher on the ACT) and 18 (29%) are projected to receive the TOPS Performance award (3.0 core GPA and 23 or higher on the ACT)... that's 61% of our class reaching one of the higher levels of TOPS awards.
  • 12 students took the SAT with an average score of 1213 (1600) and 1813 (2400).
  • Our average GPA (unweighted) was a 3.36.
